Leeanne
We'd like to thank Leeanne for being a great ally!
When we posted a need for someone in southern Texas looking for glucose monitors, Leeanne immediately responded. She jumped into action and provided over a hundred glucose monitors and shipped them at her own cost. There were 105 of assorted varieties and many of them had educational Cd's for treating Diabetes. There were also 4-5 boxes of lancets and a couple of boxes of alcohol swabs too. "I am very excited to be your partner in making these wishes come true, says Leeanne. "My Mom is a diabetic and I know how hard it can be to monitor even in the best of situations."

Leeanne is not the only one who contributed. Her friends at Christ Community Church..specifically Teresa Peterson, who was stocking in their community pantry. She was the first to offer the ones she collected. Sister of Savings Group Message Board Members were VERY generous. The minute Leeanne placed it on the message boards the monitors were "falling like rain." Photos of the boxes are on the left.
Leeanne says, "We will be praying for these folks and the others you are yet to help.This is a wonderful thing to give back."

How wonderful that Leeanne gathered all her resources to help someone she has never met, who in turn, will help over a hundred people whose health is at risk from diabetes. Our congratulations go out to Leeanne.
